There is a definite
difference between trout that are
exposed to tidal areas and trout that are
not. Often coastal trout like Cutthroat
and Dolly Varden  are more responsive
to "salmon"  like fly patterns. Along with
taking standard leech, mayfly and caddis
flies....they are often eager to take flies
that many would not consider using on
"regular" trout...........
